Where luxury appliances are failed by regular cleaners
In luxury homes, the refrigerator is often two materials on one door: a Sub-Zero or a similar built-in appliance, hidden behind a custom wood front made by the same shop that built your cabinets. A regular cleaning service would likely wipe both with the same all-purpose spray, usually ammonia or citrus based, which dulls the wood finish while the moisture left behind seeps into the joint where the panel meets the metal and swells the wood from the inside. None of it shows up that day. It shows up a year later, when that one panel no longer matches the cabinets on either side of it, and refinishing a single panel to match costs thousands of dollars. We clean the two materials as two separate jobs, with the products each manufacturer specifies, protecting the beauty and longevity of both surfaces.
